Over many years I have enjoyed the process of drawing and painting in most media and also clay modelling figurative sculpture.  Stone carving presents a  new way to explore, the light on shape and texture, to discover the qualities of materials and the transformation by eye, hand and tools to express tensions and relationships in the forms.
